Focus on TRAAK, a key player in geolocation for defence and security sectors
At Eurosatory, the leading international trade show for defense and security, Thomas Duroyon, CEO and founder of TRAAK, was a guest on the BFM Business live show. He presented the latest technological advances in geolocation for defence and security, as well as the company’s vision of the sector and its development challenges.
An opportunity to showcase TRAAK’s expertise in cooperative tracking solutions (blue force tracking, PTI, DATI), non-cooperative tracking solutions (beaconing, decoying), custom solutions and GPS denied navigation for drones and robots.
Robust new geolocation technology for constrained environments
Thomas Duroyon took the opportunity of this interview to present PIXYS 3D, a solution integrating DeepCom and Wheere technologies, which ensures precise location outdoors, indoors and underground. With a range of up to 25 km in open areas, it guarantees optimum performance even in the absence of GPS.
“Our transmitter, which operates continuously, guarantees precise location even in environments where GPS is unusable”. What sets this device apart is its ability to operate in complex, degraded environments, where other technologies fail.
Saving lives, a core mission
TRAAK’s main objective is clear: to contribute to the safety of people operating in complex and sometimes hostile environments. “DefTech should not be confused with DeathTech. We don’t make weapons, but tools that save lives“, Thomas Duroyon pleads. He emphasized the positive impact of technological innovations in the defense and security sector.
A talent challenge to go further
One of TRAAK’s major challenges is to recruit the right talent. “We need cutting-edge skills to continue innovating and meet tomorrow’s challenges” emphasizes Thomas Duroyon. This quest for specialized, technical profiles reflects the company’s ambition to remain at the cutting edge of technology.
A technology of the future for defense and industry
With its ability to combine geolocation and biometric tracking in constrained environments, TRAAK is positioned as a key player in defense and security technologies. Its self-financing, sovereign approach and collaboration with institutional and industrial partners testify to a clear strategic vision.
For Thomas Duroyon, the future of technology in hostile environments lies in innovative and responsible solutions. “Our mission is to ensure safety in situations where technology makes the difference between danger and saving lives“.
