Revolutionary technology for first-responders
At the Congrès National des Sapeurs-Pompiers de France in Nancy, TRAAK was awarded the Prix Innovation des Sapeurs-Pompiers in the start-up category, for its DeepCom solution. Co-organized by the Fédération Nationale des Sapeurs-Pompiers de France (FNSPF) and Atraksis, this prize highlights solutions that are transforming rescue operations.
DeepCom was designed in collaboration with the Brigade de Sapeurs-Pompiers de Paris (BSPP) to address a crucial issue: enabling effective communication and real-time data feedback in underground or deep-indoor environments, where traditional networks are ineffective.
An unprecedented technological response
DeepCom offers infrastructure-free, two-way data transmission between first responders operating in complex areas (sewers, tunnels, deep basements, elevator shafts) and their teams on the surface. Tests demonstrated impressive performance:
- Transmission through 40 floors in an elevator shaft.
- Over 2 km of railway tunnels.
- 150 meters of sewers, without relay.
This solution makes it possible to communicate messages that enhance team safety and operational efficiency.
Open, adaptable technology
DeepCom is designed to be integrated by other players in the security ecosystem. This flexibility also opens up opportunities for use in sectors such as defense or energy, where ultra-constrained environments are commonplace.
